Peer Navigator- Full Time, Temporary to March 31, 2019
In accordance with established vision, mission, focus and values of the agency, the Peer Navigator (PN) shares his/her own consumer knowledge and lived experience of mental illness/substance use to assist clients to increase their community inclusion/citizenship while successfully accessing and navigating community supports and resources. The PN collaborates with the client and other service providers to meet individual needs and situational requirements. The PN represents clients as a formal advocate in order to assist clients in effectively obtaining service in settings such as the social/supportive housing system, financial support systems, the justice system, hospitals and other health services, and community services.
Manager, Community and Workplace Education
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Community and Workplace Education to take our successful student, public and workplace mental health and wellness workshops and expand them throughout the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley area as well as across Canada. You will be expected to measurably increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction and boost our reputation as the preferred provider of mental health and wellness workshops.
Bounce Back Program – French Language Community Coach
Bounce Back: Reclaim Your Health is a skill-building program designed to help adults experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression (with or without anxiety). The role of the coach is to teach new skills, to help clients stay motivated, to answer questions and to monitor progress. Bounce Back coaches are not therapists, they are trained in the delivery of a specific program known to be effective in relieving mild to moderate depression and are overseen by psychologists. The French Language Community Coach will provide the service to both french and english speaking clients.
Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellor
The Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellor provides the full continuum of support to clients seeking competitive, paid employment in an integrated community setting. Working alongside, and in liaison with, mental health team or other referring clinical staff, the Counsellor ensures the integration of vocational rehabilitation into treatment planning and case management.
